Garcia White, who killed twin sisters, became the fifth Texas inmate put to death in 2024 after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to issue a stay of execution.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – The State of Texas has executed a Harris County man tied to five murders from the late 1980s and 1990s. Garcia White was executed by lethal injection Tuesday. His time of death was 6:56 p.m.

A man was shot and killed while attempting to enter a northwest Harris County home where his ex lived, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.
