The Pac-12 made massive waves on Tuesday as the conference announced the addition of the Gonzaga Bulldogs. The gutting of traditional conferences has changed the landscape of college sports, leaving a once powerful conference scrambling to stay alive.

After years of discussion and deliberation with a number of conferences, Gonzaga found a solution that made sense, accepting an invitation to the Pac-12.

Gonzaga is leaving the West Coast Conference for the Pac-12. Gonzaga and the Pac-12 announced on Tuesday that the Bulldogs will join the conference as its eighth member beginning July 1, 2026.
